Sensory Processing Disorder: Ambiguous but Real

And that is what makes understanding sensory processing disorder (SPD) so challenging. Behavior resulting from SPD can look like a tantrum or discipline problem. And the remedies for dealing with the behavior tend to be counter intuitive. Which is why it’s a disorder often undiagnosed and untreated.
