MY grandson is 14 yrs old and has spd he is doing so much better the older he gets he is on the honor roll, he did play football for 1 yr. now he does cross country and track, track he always comes in 1st or 2nd place {proud grandma} the only thing he talks very fast and hard to make out at times what he is saying the school says he does not need speech anymore even tho my daughter did want him to still attend. When he was 3 yrs old that is when we found out that he had spd he did go to phy. therapy which helped him so much at first my daughter was in denial , I guess like all parents and grandparents.
