One of the final sensory frontiers in my house was to get my 7yo to tie his shoes. Thanks to poor fine motor, he had yet to “get it.” Then I saw this video in one of my OT groups, which made me think it may just be time for me to try teaching him again.
It was the catalyst for me to figure out an OT-appropriate way for kids to tie their own shoes.
