13 OT Mini Trampoline and Bosu Ball Exercises for Kids

March 31, 2017 by jennifer 4 Comments

As many of you know, we keep a mini trampoline in our TV room. Yep, it’s pretty much there year round. We also keep a Bosu Ball in the basement so the kids have easy access when they’re playing down there. These two pieces of exercise equipment are awesome for children with Sensory Processing Disorder and Autism. From working on core strength to just an awesome overall outlet for energy and gross motor practice, I can’t recommend these products enough.

Here’s a video I found from Sensory Change that shows some OT mini trampoline and bosu ball exercises you can do with these pieces of equipment. They are easy to do at home and can help your sensory kiddo.

Thank you for this. There is a lot I know about exercising on trampolines and a bosu ball, but I found something new here as well. Have to implement these few tricks in upcoming exercises.

Great idea! But if talk about myself I have one indoor trampoline without enclosure and I placed it in kids room. They enjoyed a lot on it but doing bouncing and chalking on it only. I will definitely show them your video so that they can imagine and generate more ideas to play.
