    Hi Jennifer,
I truly believe my son would be best served by homeschooling. Since he also has other challenges such as FAS, adhd, genetic anomiles and anxiety, including separation anxiety, I don’t feel I should be the one homeschooling or even be present. We’ve been working in therapy on all of these things, and are making some progress. I don’t think I would be helping him if we went back to him being with me most of the time and me teaching academics. Have you ever heard of a situation where someone else teaches a child or a few children as a homeschool option, without it being the parent?

Love this !! I have a 6 year old son with Apraxia of speech, and Sensory Processing Disorder. I am in Canada. I was very anti label, until my son was showing signs of needing help. The label has helped us here in Alberta, to get a disability credit to help pay for my sons private speech therapy and occupational therapist. I homeschool my 4 children..5th child is 20 years old. thank you for this session. I have signed up for your newsletter. It is a relief to hear other moms talk about their special learners. Thank you
